Adele
I am tooooooootally in love with Adele's new album, 21. Her voice is haunting and stunning. It doesn't hurt that a lot of the songs really hit home right now
Haven't heard it yet? What are you waiting for?! Hop to it! You can watch her record release performance online!

Blue Christmas
Either way, it's not such a great feeling. I feel like this year has been full of so much loss, and I'm looking forward to a new year full of adventures.

I Hope This Gets To You
This by far wins for cutest thing of the day.
After his girlfriend moved across the country for grad school, William C. May enlisted the help of his friends in The Daylights to make this video for her as proof that they could stay close during a long distance relationship. There's a catch: instead of sending her the video directly, he decided to let it get to her organically through friends.
Every girl wishes for this kind of gesture from a guy. Frankly, it makes me wish for a time about a year and a half ago when things were soooo much different.

History of Rap
Ladies and Gentlemen, it's been an exhausting week, but can we just take a quick second to discuss the brilliance of this?
Love it. Lovelovelove.

White Knuckles
What do I love? Puppies.
(My puppy thinks my socks are toys designed specifically for his enjoyment.)
What else do I love? Ok Go.
(LOVE the goose.)
Now, let's put them together!

High Violet
I wasn't sure if the latest album would be able to live up to my love for their 2007 release, Boxer. This one is just different. The two have completely different tones, and I love them both. Check it out, and report back. Although, you should know that if you don't like it, I will judge you.

Another One Bites the Dust
Today I can't stop listening to Queen. Maybe because Freddie Mercury was a badass? Possibly.image via last.fm.

Music Philosophy

I'm completely in love with the Music Philosophy project coming out of England. Designer Mico Toledo takes philosophical music quotes from the likes of Sondre Lerche, The Beatles, and U2, combines them with inventive typography, and presto! You have something stunning. A new one is posted weekly.

Razzle Dazzle Frazzle
I've been feeling excessively frustrated (and slightly frantic) today and yesterday. Listening to Ingrid Michaelson sing my favorite Elvis song seems help.
